This is a 3D version of an octopus character I designed for a birthday card. The base mesh was created in Maya. It was then detailed, texured and rendered in Zbrush. The background and various touch ups were done in Photoshop. I particually like the bubbles which were created using a custom brush I developed. I made this image as an example of a more zany style of my work with influences such as the Ren and Stimpy cartoon. Just want to know peoples views about the image!
